Back in April 2018, Lutron acquired Ketra, a leader in the tunable lighting industry.

While for decades, Lutron has been at the forefront of the way we control our lights – allowing us to dim lights, group lights into scenes accessible through one-touch control and even allowing us to manage our home’s lights from the convenience of a smartphone application – Ketra equally has demonstrated its innovative passion.

Ketra was founded in 2009 and has gained recognition for its LED lights that can display colors throughout the RGBW spectrum. With the ability to customize lighting color and saturation through their LED bulbs, Ketra’s fixtures aren’t only energy-efficient and long-lasting but also are genuinely state-of-the-art.

Ketra also has had a control solution for its lighting systems that is equally impressive – not only could you create lighting scenes accessible from an in-wall keypad but you also could customize the lighting on any bulb throughout your house – allowing you to change it to any color on the RGBW spectrum and to dim lights to as little as 0.1-percent brightness.
